Capital IQ was no longer a start-up. We were approaching our third year post-acquisition by McGraw-Hill, and need a refreshed and distinctive look to communicate our depth of offerings. We also needed a standards manual that could be referred to by internal designers and agencies. With a graphic designer, working on layout and production, I led the development of our standards manual, which detailed our formats, typography, and grid system. I also created the design system that distinguished our marketing and communications literature with distinct designs for client, product, white papers, referential, and statistical pieces.
